Medication Review

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

Private Prescriptions

Patients are responsible for paying the cost of any private prescription following a referral to a private consultant.

GPs are not required to provide an NHS prescription for this or to continue to prescribe.

However we may consider converting routine private prescriptions into NHS prescription once we have received a letter and the treatment is on the recommended list of medications from the Camden Medicines management team and in line with local guidelines.
